Layby Payments - Finalise

You use the Finalise button on the Layby Payments screen to finalise a layby. This button only becomes active when the payment entered equals the outstanding amount.

When you finalise a layby, Micronet logs the last payment, processes the actual POS sale and clears the layby from the POS system.

1. Display the Layby Payments screen for the layby.

Refer to "Enter Transaction - Layby - Layby Payment".

2. In the Pay Layby field, enter the final amount owing on the layby and enter the payment amount against the appropriate payment method (.e.g cash, cheque, etc.).

The Finalise button becomes active.

3. Select the Finalise button.

Micronet processes the sale, prints a tax invoice and clears the layby from POS. It then redisplays the Enter Transaction screen.
